Part 2
My day at the Wall-marts did not go any better from being called a butter snob. NO...... It only got worse....
So, as I was walking back to the check out....it happened......
You know what I told you before....."WAR OF THE WORLDS" The crash and fall of 3 toddlers.......1 ,2 , and 4.......It was horrible.....
Esther was crying like someone pinched her....Hannah was the one making her cry....and Brodie?????? Probably in the men's clothing section.........
I'm sure I looked like that crazy mean parent.... that beats there children, you know......the one that I used to say I would never be.....Well, that's me now.....And honestly I don't care who See's me.
I am not annoyed that I look stupid......Or people are staring at me.......or judging me for that matter. I am just annoyed with my kids......I want the noise to stop! I want to stop counting, I want soldiers- NO robots- NO!!!!!!!!!!!I WANT TO BE BY MYSELF WHEN I SHOP!!!!!
DON'T JUDGE ME TILL YOU HAVE 4.................. OK?
So at this point I am giving anything to Esther I can to just make her be quiet......INCLUDING MY KEYS...................................
Yes, I was driven this insane to break the #1 mother rule.....Never give your 1 yr old the one thing that can rescue you and get you out of the current hell that you are in...........The car keys.........
So, all is good now because I am heading out to my truck get everyone loaded......and to go home! Packed in everyone..literally......because the back of my truck was already full with stuff. So I had to put the grocery's all around my kids. It was hot......the windows were up and everyone was melting....and screaming......yes, still screaming and THEN my keys were gone.......
No, really like gone...... I am not sure what I was thinking? Did I really think that my 1 year old would say "I'd better not lose these keys and I'd better return them back to my mommy's purse?" or did I NOT know betterthan not ..... that she would throw them down on the ground to be lost FOREVER~!
Dumb dumb dumb.......Maybe............ it was the 89 year ole' ladies calling me a butter snob......That affected my judgement and threw me totally off. What ever so I am dumb and with out my keys....I sat in my car and comptemplated crying, BUT I WAS SO ROYALLY PISSED OFF I COULDN'T CRY! I WANT TO GO OLE LADY HUNTING....not really.
So I see a Walls Mart associate. I ask her to help. she goes and gets her manager......I then explain to him my situation......and he has the nerve to say to me....
"well why did you do that?"
I wanted to punch him in the nose and then when he asked me why did I that I would tell him....
"just for fun....I same reason I asked my 1 year old to lose my keys...you dumb BUTT!"
So any ways I had to unload my kids......and I walked back and forth past those 2 ole ladies.....the butter isle.......and nothing. At this point I was about to sit down and cry......
And then out of the Walls- mart Heaven I hear.....
"will the Hannah that lost her keys please come to the customer service desk"
Could it be me? The associate is really a dumb BUTT and got my name wrong? Or is there a Hannah that lost her keys too?
So I go up to the front and say.....I'm Hannah......
The lady handed me MY KEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just for Hannah to say...Mommy your name isn't Hannah.........
I said "be quiet(not really what I said)" and I bolted out of there!
dumb BUTT waved and said "so you got your keys back?"
I said "yeah, no thank to you.....dumb ass!" I got in and drove away......He probably did not deserve that......But someone was gonna get it! He was just the lucky one!

A Butter snob.....
So I have another Walmart story to tell you.....OK.... today I went shopping at "the WALL- marts"....(that is what Hannah calls it....she says its he most favorite place ever! POOR KID, she needs to get out more often) So I had a ban on "the wall -mar" for a short time.....LIKE 2 days. But then my kids got sick and I need a pharmacy, a grocery, a clothing , shoe, and a place to buy large Rubbermaid's. I figured it's not the Wall-marts fault I can't control my beastly children, and they go there so often that they feel comfortable to roam the store...unattended.
I am zipping around trying to do my shopping before there is war of the worlds....AKA 1,2, and 4 year old's have there major meltdowns) So I got almost everything got to the front and realized I forgot the one major thing I came for.....BUTTER. (We make alot of cookies, breads and stuff....so I go through Butter like crazy.) OK so I walk back to the very back of the store to get the butter...... I was already there twice....I just have a crazy mommy brain that only retains data that it wants to...\
I get to the back and find the butter.
Of course there are two little old Lady's doing the same.
One in a go-go scooter and the other with blue shadow on....(not sure who told her that looked good, probably one of those crazy MAry KAy people!)
So they to are stocking up on the butter. (They were in a depression! they know all about it!....and will tell you all about it if you gave them a chance.....)But anyways they are buying the walmart special Butter......so I politely say excuse me and start to grab the TILLAMOOK BUTTER.....the whole time I am doing this I feel that I am being watched. Being watched by the older generation is a scary thing to me.....
Old lady in the go-go scooter says "why are you buying that kind?"
"Don't you know that this kind is almost 56Cents cheaper?"
I say "well I am aware of that BUT I was raised in Oregon and Tillamook is what I have always had....it is Just what I am use to.....and I do alot of baking.....Really I don't care for the other stuff"
Ole' lady blue says " I lived in Washington and I don't really even know notice the difference....."
"ummm ok, well.....I lived in Oregon......and its what my mom used and I just like it better"
Eye's NOW narrowing, turning into: mean ole lady on go-go scooter says..... " SO YOUR A BUTTER SNOB....."
OK REALLY..... I LOVE OLD PEOPLE .......AND IF ANYONE IS AN OLD PERSON ADVOCATE, ITS ME.....I LOVE TO HERE ABOUT THERE LIVES, STRUGGLES, THING FROM THE PAST.....But go-go ole' lady is pissing me off.........(beside's my kids screaming and fighting in the back ground)
I said .............................................................................................
"call me what you want, but I want my kids to say: Mommy you make the best cookies and breads, and I want they neighbors to ask for my recipe.....AND when it never turns out for them....and they say it never turns out for me........I'll ask them...what kinda Butter did you use? and when they say....... Oh cheap walls marts brand I will say ohhhh that's why.................... I only use Tillamook . It is the secret to any good cook."
Well, guess what.........Go- go ole' lady and ole' blue lady....Look as maybe they have had a change of heart.....when ole' blue says,
"well you have convinced me....."
And she put back all of her .56cents cheaper butter and got ALL Tillamook.
While mean ole go-go scooter lady said , "I'll try one"
But I know........once you go Tillamook you never go back..........
I then informed them that Winco was much cheaper and that they sell all Tillamook products including.....Cheese, butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, Ice cream and jerky! AND that Tillamook is family owned and operated. Go Heather......
So call me a dairy snob if you like......But I buy Tillamook!
This is the best Cheese ever! vintage white.......yummmmmmmmm
Stay tuned for part 2 of the walmart story.................

On deaths door.....
Sick..... really sick. Not just the sniffles. BUT "THE CRUD"......
That is what we call it. I just looked it up in the dictionary.....AND I won't be calling it "the crud" anymore...... (you ask why I looked it up....cause I can't spell.....So Shut UP!)
The Crud
crud·ded, crud·ding.
–noun 1.Slang. Duh.....
a.a deposit or coating of refuse or of an impure or alien substance; muck. b.a filthy, repulsive, or contemptible person.
c.something that is worthless, objectionable, or contemptible.
d.prevarication, exaggeration, or flattery.
e.a nonspecific, imaginary, or vaguely defined disease or disorder of the body: jungle crud.
f.any unpleasant external ailment, disorder, or the like, as a skin rash.
g.venereal disease, esp. syphilis. WOW......
h.Vulgar. dried semen. OKKKK....is this the technical word for it?
JUST SO PEOPLE KNOW............. WE DON'T HAVE A VENEREAL DISEASE, VULGAR DRIED SEMEN......A SKIN RASH.....OR ANY IMPURE OR ALIEN SUBSTANCE.
We have a really bad cold. I think I might write to Webster (the dictionary man) and let him know there is a new meaning for the word "crud".
Also, I have been meaning to let him know that there is also a new meaning for the word "Junk".....
As follows is what good ole' web defines JUNK AS......
–noun
1.any old or discarded material, as metal, paper, or rags.
2.anything that is regarded as worthless, meaningless, or contemptible; trash.
3.old cable or cordage used when untwisted for making gaskets, swabs, oakum, etc.
4.Nautical Slang. salt junk.
5.Baseball Slang. relatively slow, unorthodox pitches that are deceptive to the batter in movement or pace, as knuckleballs or forkballs. –verb (used with object)
6.to cast aside as junk; discard as no longer of use; scrap. –adjective
7.cheap, worthless, unwanted, or trashy.
[Origin: 1480–90; earlier jonke, of uncert. orig.]
I always wondered why..... when my OB/GYN came in and said
"soooo me tell me where the contractions are localized at...."
and I yelled
"MY JUNK" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Dr. had such a confused look on her face......
"where?"
(I thought ....."you dump butt! MY JUNK! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!")
Mike then had to give her the "LOW DOWN" on Junk.....
"low-down" adjective
mean; contemptible
Example: a low-down thief
Which is really funny now, (not so funny then, considering the baby was crowning, and no one cared to see that....)
But Mike, explaining the word "JUNK" without using any of the technical words, that for some reason he has a adversion to using. Any of the P words especially.....
(NOTE: if you ever want to tease Mike.....say a p word..... I dare ya.)
So... in our house hold we use the slang word "junk" as our Private area......
My girls refer to it as their "little butt, and their big butt".....
OK so I am not sure how I started writing about "The colds" we all have to our private area's......But wait I have one more....
The word "dude".....
Do you remember how annoyed people would get (especially adults when we "the x generation" would use the word "dude".......)
The word dude as Web likes to defines it as.....
noun, verb, dud·ed, dud·ing.
–noun
1.a man excessively concerned with his clothes, grooming, and manners. 2.Slang. fellow; chap.
3.a person reared in a large city.
4.Western U.S. an urban Easterner who vacations on a ranch. —Verb phrase
5.dude up, Informal. to dress in one's fanciest, best, or most stylish clothes; dress up: He got all duded up to go to the dance.
[Origin: 1880–85, Americanism; orig. uncert.]
I had a teacher that once told me NOT to use that word because the definition of the word "dude" really meant a cows BUTT HOLE (really she actually said that, I think that is why I remember it so well)......
Funny, cause I guess good ole' Mrs. Baker never really read the dictionary on her spare time like we all thought she had.......
And she must of really never known that the word "dude" means
"a man excessively concerned about his clothes." AKA MIKE
What is really funny......is that Christian (Billie's son) came in the house a few days ago.....
I always say "whats up "DUDE"? when he walks in the door from school! He then informed me that the word "dude" was a infected hair on an elephants butt!
"Huh?"
and he said that his teacher told him that......THOSE TEACHERS!
BUT being the smart ass that I am.....I tangled in my head for a while...... and thought about printing out Websters version of "DUDE" and telling Christian to take it to school and tell his teacher that she should actually read the dictionary before she trys to scare Innocent little boys like that!
But really........ that is the last thing that Christian needed to do.....to get his teacher to like him alittle more....... and innocent...... Hum.....let me think about that one for a while....:)
Anyways.....we are all really sick but on the meand........
OHHHHHH....Now I remember why I was writing this again.....
On Saturday I was taking Gracie and Esther into urgent care and Gracie was having stomach cramps.......
She started to do the momma-contraction breathing thing........
"shhhshhhshhhhshhhhhshhshhhshhhh"
And then screamed......."I feel like I am having a baby!! get me some where NOW!!!!!Quick!!!!!"
I couldn't help it......the fact that my 6 year old thinks that she knows what having a baby might feel like kills me......I was laughing, HARD< BUT Trying to hide it......BUT Not doing so well!
She gave me the evil Momma eye and said.....................
"REALLY it's NOT funny!"
Which only made the laughing worse!
It was like seeing myself......
Now I know why Mike was always laughing WHEN IT ISN'T FUNNY!

To all of you Invisible Mother's....
The Invisible Mother.....
It all began to make sense, the blank stares, the lack of response, the way one of the kids will walk into the room whileI'm on the phone and ask to be taken to the store. Inside I'm thinking,'Can't you see I'm on the phone?' Obviously not; no one can see if I'm on thephone, or cooking, or sweeping the floor, or even standing on my head inthe corner, because no one can see me at all. I'm invisible. The invisibleMom. Some days I am only a pair of hands, nothing more: Can you fix this? Can you tie this? Can you open this? Some days I'm not a pair of hands; I'm not even a human being.
I'm a clock to ask, 'What time is it?' I'm a satellite guide to answer, 'What number is the Disney Channel?' I'm a car to order, 'Rightaround 5:30, please.' I was certain that these were the hands that once held booksand the eyes that studied history and the mind that graduated summacum laude - but now they had disappeared into the peanut butter, never tobe seen again. She's going, she's going, she's gone!
One night, a group of us were having dinner, celebrating the return of a friend from England. Janice had just gotten backfrom a fabulous trip, and she was going on and on about the hotel shestayed in. I was sitting there, looking around at the others all put together so well. It was hard not to compare and feel sorry for myself. I was feeling pretty pathetic, when Janice turned to me with a beautifully wrappedpackage, and said, 'I brought you this.' It was a book on the great cathedrals of Europe. I wasn't exactly sure why she'd given it to me until I read her inscription: 'To Charlotte, with admiration for the greatness of what youare >building when no one sees.' In the days ahead I would read - no, devour - the book. And I would discover what would become for me, four life-changing truths, after which I could pattern my work:
No one can say who built the great cathedrals - we have no record of their names. These builders gave their whole lives for a work they would never see finished. They made great sacrifices and expected no credit. The passion of their building was fueled by their faith that the eyes of God saw everything. A legendary story in the book told of a rich man who came to visit the cathedral while it was being built, and he saw a workman carving a tiny bird on the inside of a beam. He was puzzled and asked the man, 'Why are you spending so much time carving that bird into a beam that will be covered by the roof? No one will ever see it.' And the workman replied, 'Because God sees.' I closed the book, feeling the missing piece fall into place. It was almost as if I heard God whispering to me, 'I see you,Charlotte. I see the sacrifices you make every day, even when no one around you does. No act of kindness you've done, no sequin you've sewn on, no cupcake you've baked, is too small for me to notice and smile over.
You are building a great cathedral, but you can't see right now what it will become.' At times, my invisibility feels like an affliction. But it is not a disease that is erasing my life. It is the cure for the disease of my own self-centeredness. It is the antidote to my strong, stubborn pride. I keep the right perspective when I see myself as a great builder. As one of the people who show up at a job that they will never see finished, to work on something that their name will never be on. The writer of the book went so far as to say that no cathedrals could ever be built in our lifetime because there are so few people willing to sacrifice to that degree.
When I really think about it, I don't want my son to tell the friend he's bringing home from college for Thanksgiving, 'MyMom gets up at 4 in the morning and bakes homemade pies, and then she hand bastes a turkey for three hours and presses all the linens for the table.' That would mean I'd built a shrine or a monument to myself. I just want him to want to come home. And then, if there is anything more to say to his friend, to add, 'You're gonna love it there.' As mothers, we are building great cathedrals. We cannot be seen if we're doing it right. And one day, it is very possible that the world will marvel, not only at what we have built, but at the beauty that has been added to the world by the sacrifices of invisible women.

Ask me what Gracie brought to school....If I like you I might tell you.......If I dont I won't!
Why do we love children?
1) NUDITY
I was driving with my three young children one warm summer evening when a woman in the convertible ahead of us stood up and waved. She was stark naked! As I was reeling from the shock, I heard my 5-year-old shout from the back seat, 'Mom, that lady isn't wearing a seat belt!
2) OPINIONS
On the first day of school, a first-grader handed his teacher a note >> from his mother. The note read, 'The opinions expressed by this child are not necessarily those of his parents.'
3) KETCHUP
A woman was trying hard to get the ketchup out of the jar. During her struggle the phone rang so she asked her 4-year-old daughter to answer the phone. 'Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle.'
4) MORE NUDITY
A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women's locker room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement and then asked, 'What's the matter, haven't you ever seen a little boy before?'
5) POLICE # 1 While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school, I was interrupted by a little girl about 6 years old. Looking up and down at my uniform, she asked, 'Are you a cop? Yes,' I answered and continued writing the report. My mother said if I ever needed help Ishould ask the police. Is that right?' 'Yes, that's right,' I told her. 'Well, then,' she said as she extended her foot toward me, 'would you please tie my shoe?'
6) POLICE
It was the end of the day when I parked my police van in front of the station. As I gathered my equipment, my K-9 partner, Jake, was barking, and I saw a little boy staring in at me. 'Is that a dog you got back there?' he asked.'It sure is,' I replied. Puzzled, the boy looked at me and then towards the back of the van. Finally he said, 'What'd he do?'
7) ELDERLY
While working for an organization that delivers lunches to elderly shut-ins, I used to take my 4-year-old daughter on my afternoon rounds. She was unfailingly intrigued by the various appliances of old age, particularly the canes, walkers and wheelchairs. One day I found her staring at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. As I braced myself for the inevitable barrage of questions, she merely turned and whispered, 'The tooth fairy will never believe this!'
8) DRESS-UP
A little girl was watching her parents dress for a party. When she saw her dad donning his tuxedo, she warned, 'Daddy, you shouldn't wear that suit.'
'And why not, darling?' 'You know that it always gives you a headache the next morning.'
9) DEATH
While walking along the sidewalk in front of his church, our minister heard the intoning of a prayer that nearly made his collar wilt. Apparently, his 5-year-old son and his playmates had found a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, they had secured a small box and cotton batting, then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased. The minister's son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with onorous dignity intoned his version of what he thought his father always said: 'Glory be unto the Faaather, and unto the Sonnn, and into the hole he goooes.' (I want this line used at my funeral!)
10) SCHOOL
A little girl had just finished her first week of school. 'I'm just wasting my time,' she said to her mother. 'I can't read, I can't write, and they won't let me talk!
11) BIBLE
A little boy opened the big family Bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages. Mama, look what I found,' the boy called out.'What have you got there, dear?' With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, 'I think it's Adam's underwear!'
For the longest time Gracie's favorite movie was HARRY POTTER....yes I know I am a horrible parent for letting my kids watch that movie......... bla blah blah blah blah......OH YAH WELL ..... well..... I let them watch Sponge bob too! SO BLAH! Anyways.....When Gracie would say the Prayer .....It would sound like "Dear Harry potter......"..Still somtimes when I hear the someone say harry potter I think of the prayer.....
HORRIBLE, I KNOW! DONT YOU JUDGE ME! :)

Our Saturday at the Rexburg Flight Museum
We try every week to do at least one fun thing for the kids......Either Friday nights are Pizza and a movie.....Or Saturday is a day out and lunch. This Sat. we went to the Rexburg air museum.
We pulled up to the museum and I think we both questioned what they could fit in the tiny little hanger.....Might I add we are use to the Tillimook air museum, Of which is HUGE!
But this place was really neat! The kids were sorta running around like crazy monkeys, and most ended up haveing to put their hands in there pockets.....But there kids so really what do you expect?
Here is a typical Brodie pose...Do you think that the flash really that bright that he is going blind? No ....He is just part asian like his real father.

After they ran around for a while....The Owner John Bagley.....came out and was chit chatting......Well come to find out we know his family. Small world. He decieded that he really liked Hannah and wanted to take her home. Then all of the sudden he opened up the doors.......
Him and Hannah pulled out the planes........Includeing the JET!
I am not sure what Esther thought........She was all smiles though.......
The kids got a huge kick out of the whole thing! It was a great weekend!
