Potty Mouth.....NO REALLY poop and Pee Mouth

So OK this is really gross....so if you have a weak stomach I will caution you!

This in no way should reflect on my parenting ability or make people think that I do not TRY to teach my kids certain proper etiquette. But really do your kids ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOU!
So my average day get up about 6:30 - 7:00 am.

Get everyone up, feed them breakfast and start cleaning the kitchen.

Today there was one difference.
Hannah said "Mommy I have to go Poop! But Bleak is in the bathroom!"

Bleak is Blake, and she is Gracie's Best friend that I babysit during the day.

So I said "SERIOUSLY WE HAVE 2 BATHROOMS! Go into Mommy's bathroom!"

She stared Crying " No your toilet is to big" (which totally true! beside the giant hole that I can fall through. But we have this turbo flush toilet. That makes our whole house shake.....and I am sure that it would suck Hannah's tininess down with one pull of the handle!)

Just then by the Grace of GOD! Bleak came out.....But there was no flush. Hannah jumped on the toilet and I reminded her "BE SURE YOU FLUSH!"

"OK Mommy"

Well.........about an hour later Essie woke up from her nap and she was cruising around. I was in cleaning the kitchen. When I all of the sudden thought of the toilet........and I wondered if the door to the bathroom was shut or closed. (because its a rule to shut the bathroom door so Essie cant go inside!)

I was too late!

I found to my horror, Essie inside the bathroom munching on a pot of POOH.....No not like POOH in Winnie the poohs pot, more like POOP and PEE. NOT only was it poop and pee. But it was Hannah and Bleak's poop and pee. Why do you think that is worse to me? Hannah's BM's are bad.....But the thought of an another child's BM (Note: I love bleak like my own. I just don't handle bodily excertments the same. This is the same child that barfed from the top of my stairs and manage hit every single stair with red kool aid and mac n cheese. I didn't handle that one well either. LUV you BLEAK!)

Not only did she eat the TP and Pooppee combo but she crawled out of the bathroom and covered all over my walls and carpet up and down the hallway and bathroom!

I cleaned it BUT it did take me a full day to conquer the bathroom. With the dry heaves and I needed to take short breaks in between or that would have been it for my Breakfast and lunch!

A person that I told that I told this story to...actually asked me if I took pictures.....(you know who you are) No....why would I want to horrify anyone with such a gross story? Ha....And really do I want her future husband to know that she was actually enjoying eating siblings and friend BM. NO THANKS!

WORDS TO LIVE BY...

If I want my dreams to come true, I mustn't oversleep.

Of all the things I wear, my expression is the most important.

The quality of my life depends on the quality of my thoughts.

I should keep my words soft and sweet in case? I have to eat them.

One thing I can give and still keep: my word.

One thing I can't recycle is wasted time.

Ideas won't work unless 'I' do.

My mind is like a parachute...it functions only when open.

The 10 commandments are not multiple choice.

It is never too late to become all God can make me.

THE VERDICT IS IN....oR THE BLOOD WORK ANYWAY

No.... I am not Pregnant....... the blood work came back that I do have insulin resistance.(sucks to be me) But what I have found is that it is really common. They are starting me on a drug called metformin 1000 mg per day. I still will keep up my 4 times a week exercise and eating healthy. The Dr. said that this drug takes a while to work, but once I get things evened out that I will be able to lose weight! Hooray!

I don't have much time to write today, but I will keep everyone updated!

Dieting with no rewards.....????

OK so really I have done really great on the diet, Mike and I both. It is fun to have your husband and your friends do things with you.....It makes it so much easier. EXCEPT when you have been dieting since the 1st and have only lost 1 pound.

I was on a 900 calorie diet for the first week. We started working out 3-4 times a week for 2 hours. Treadmill, stair stepper, this weired skiing machine and the bike.

Ever since I have been on a ~1400 calorie diet. Keeping track of everything I eat on this Free calorie counter web site....http://www.myfitnesspal.com. Its a really neat site and very easy to use. Now..... I have had a few slip ups, But I recovered from all of them....and I have been super proud of myself.

But every day I weigh myself NOTHING! This is going on the fourth week. So I went into the Dr.s on Tuesday night. Thinking that it was probably something to do with my thyroid, I really wasn't sure what it could be. I just knew that I was doing all of this work and not getting paid. They had me go in for some blood work... Including a glucose test. My Dr. is seems to think that I have Insulin resistance, or that my Gestational Diabetes is playing a roll in my NO weight loss.

So I fasted for 8 hours or after midnight no food. When I went in my 1st blood draw or my fasting glucose was 118. Then I had to drink that horrible, gross, sick, disgusting orange wanna be pop glucose filled drink that SERIOUSLY makes me shiver just to think about it.

So this doesn't make since to me.....They think glucose is your problem, so they give you a drink loaded with it.....Seems a little backwards, not only that they say "you have 3 minutes to drink this one liter of (gross, disgusting, horrible) orange flavored drink". I was sure the nurse was mistaken....Before when I had my gestational test it was a small cup size drink.....THIS WAS NOT.

I told the nurse "ummm is this right, I drink allllll of this????? 1 liter??????"

She just replied, in her (gross, horrible, disgusting) way to cheerful @ 8:00am in the morning voice, "Yep.... and you'd better hurry, now you have 2 minutes"

So I got it down (with no thank to my nurse) and I was good my first blood draw. But the remaining ones...I could barely get out of my chair....My eyes were closing....I felt like sleeping beauty....(Minus the whole beauty part.) But it was crazy, I was sooooo tired. I have never had that before. Honestly, most of the time I have puked up the glucose drink by my 2 blood draw.

Well after my 5 other blood draws, I went home. Only to pass out from 12:30 t0 4:30. I hope they find out what is wrong with me, and I hope that I don't have to drink that (gross, horrible, disgusting) Orange glucose flavored drink ever again!

I will let you guys know my results in about 2 days.

My diet as follows.....

MY DIETING UNDER STRESS

This diet is designed to help me cope with the stress that builds up during the day.

Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice whole wheat toast, dry, 8 oz. skim milk

Lunch: 4 oz. lean broiled chicken breast, 1 cup steamed spinach, 1 cup herb tea, 1 Oreo cookie

Mid-Afternoon Snack: Rest of the Oreos in the package, 2 pints Rocky Road ice cream, 1 jar hot fudge sauce, nuts, cherries, whipped cream

Dinner: 2 loaves garlic bread with cheese, large package of sausage, mushroom and cheese pizza, 1 large pitcher cherry pepsi, 3 MILKY WAY® candy bars

Late Evening News Snack: Entire frozen cheesecake eaten directly from freezer

Rules For my Diet

1. If you eat something and no one sees you eat it, it has no calories.

2. If you drink a diet soda with a candy bar, the calories in the candy bar are cancelled out by the diet soda.

3. When you eat with someone else, calories don't count if you don't eat more than they do.

4. Food used for medical purposes NEVER count, such as hot chocolate, brandy, toast and Sara Lee Cheesecake.

5. If you fatten up everyone else around you, then you look thinner.

6. Movie related foods do not have additional calories because they are part of the entire entertainment package and not part of one's personal fuel, such as Milk Duds, buttered popcorn, Junior Mints and Tootsie Rolls.

7. Cookie pieces contain no calories. The process of breaking causes calorie leakage.

8. Things licked off of knives and spoons have no calories if you are in the process of preparing something. Examples are peanut butter on a knife while making a sandwich and ice cream on a spoon while making a sundae.

9. Foods that have the same color have the same number of calories. Examples are spinach and pistachio ice cream, mushrooms and white chocolate. Note: Chocolate is a universal color and may be substituted for any other food color.

So I can check a few off my list.....

Everything is well of the "New years resolution" home front.

I got a purse.....DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TOOK PICK IT OUT! seriously......But I can already see that it has done me some good. I have things that I need, in a bag and I dont set them down unable to find them.

Watching what I eat has really been way easier than I thought. Although we went to the Open house of the new Rexberg temple (which by the way was awesome) and they were given out refreshments.....IE diet breakers. The had the softest yummyest sugar cookies..... I have ever had in my life.(I dont know if it was soooo good because I havent had anything like that in A WHOLE 4 days or if they were just REALLLY GOOOOD.) But anyways after that BP went to the gym with me and we worked out for about 1 1/2 hours. So I worked off my cookie.

My goal today is to get accounts set up for my kids.

Also , I added to my resolutions list.....

8. To send out cards and a small gift to family for Birthdays......Or crap at least call.

9. to read with the kids 15-30 min. and have a family prayer. IE dont beat the children to sleep.
r
10. To keep better control of my laundry. ITs cRaZy OuT OF cOnTRol!

New years resolutions....

So I have a list of my new years resolutions.....

Today is the 2ND and I have all ready broken 2. But I figure if I write them down, I will have everyone reading this know what they are....and I might feel a bit more required to do them.

1. Exercise at least 4 times a week.( I have tomorrow)

2. To watch what I eat, and how much I eat.(its all about portion control BABY, OK so no more BIG JUDD'S for a snack)

3. To wake up every day @ 6:30 (7:05.... Today, I guess I blew that one, But I was tired, NOOOOO REALLY TIRED(Mike has started this new snoring thing, its really awful)

4. To get my kids savings accounts and to contribute $25 a month into each of the kids accounts. (and to put the Money that the grandparents send in there accounts and not in my husbands or my pocket)

5. To carry a purse (this is a weired one I KNOW) But I have this stupid black wallet that I lose ALL OF THE TIME!!!!! Plus my cell phone, DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THAT STUPID THING!
I have 4 kids....I should have a purse and be prepared right? Like chap stick, tissues, oral gel?, wallet, cell phone, change purse, Diaper, baby wipes, hair brush.

Right I mean responsible moms carry those right?OK so maybe my goal should be get more organized......But seriously I have got to start some where. But REALLY how organized can I really be with 4 kids that get into everything.....I am going to try to carry a purse. So shut it! (I have done the whole diaper bag thing.....and NOOOO it turns into the gross old food bag that ends up smelling)
I need something for me..........(whatever that means)
